Who handles your data

The data controller is A.S.D. Nicolosi Etna Tour, Italian tax code 93261780873, registered office at Via Stesicoro 3, 94010 Centuripe (EN), Italy. You can contact us at nicolosietnatourasd@gmail.com or on +39 376 2137316, WhatsApp included. We have not appointed a data protection officer: for anything concerning this notice, write to the address above.

What data we collect

The data you send us. The forms on this site — the contact request and the quote builder — send nothing to a server of ours. When you fill them in, WhatsApp opens with the message already written, and it is up to you whether to send it. So the data that reaches us is only what you choose to send: first name and surname, the phone number linked to your WhatsApp account, the date and time you prefer, how many of you there are and any notes.

The data collected automatically. As happens with any website, the server hosting it records in its technical logs the IP address, the date and time of the visit, the page requested and the type of browser. These serve to keep the site running and to protect it from misuse.

The site installs no profiling cookies, uses no analytics tools and does not follow your browsing. The details are on the cookie page.

Why we process it

  • To answer requests for information and quotes and to organise the tour. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures and of the contract, art. 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
  • To keep the site running securely. Legal basis: our legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f).
  • To meet accounting and tax obligations, if the tour actually takes place. Legal basis: legal obligation, art. 6(1)(c).

We do not use your data to send you advertising and we do not pass it to third parties for commercial purposes.

How long we keep it

  • Conversations and messages about requests that came to nothing: no longer than 12 months.
  • Documents relating to tours actually carried out: for the 10 years required by tax law.
  • Server logs: for as long as is technically necessary, according to the hosting provider's settings.

Who else can see your data

  • The hosting provider of the site, which runs the server and the technical logs, acting as a data processor.
  • WhatsApp — Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., if you write to us from there: the conversation takes place on their platform and remains subject to their terms and their privacy notice. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can write to us by email.
  • The email service provider we use to receive and store email.
  • Advisers and professionals — the accountant, for example — if and to the extent needed to meet legal obligations.

The pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts and the Bootstrap stylesheet from the jsDelivr content delivery network. To do so your browser contacts those servers directly, and tells them your IP address. They install no cookies.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of the parties named above — Meta and Google in particular — may also process data in the United States, on the basis of the safeguards set out in Chapter V of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Your rights

At any time you can ask us to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, receive it in a machine-readable format, or object to processing based on legitimate interest: these are the rights set out in articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation. Write to nicolosietnatourasd@gmail.com and we will reply within one month.

If you believe that the processing of your data breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Changes to this notice

If we change anything in the way we handle data, we will update this page and the date shown at the top.
